I don't get what's with all the David Archuleta hating. He's a really sweet kid whose doing an amazing job and I'm sure the votes will CONTINUE to reflect that throughout the season.

Okay now you're just intentionally trying to get rid of Archuleta. There is NO REASON to rank him 7th. He should be top 4, hands down. Luke Menard was awful and is going home. Chikezie should be packing his bags too tonight. That's my prediction.

I agree with your 1 and 2 positions. From there, though, your rankings just don't make sense (to my ears). It is amazing to me how people can hear the same song and yet hear it different ways. To me, Danny was horrible. He should rank 8, with Luke close behind at 7. Luke seemed to sing the entire song falsetto and broke on some of the higher notes. Michael at 3? His voice is getting a screechy quality to me. 6th place - swapping with David H who I thought sang beautifully. I think your likes/dislikes of the singers is interfering with your ability to judge their singing and performaces.

I love, love, love Jason. He had me at "crossword puzzles". He's cool, smart, and so talented. Jason is my #2. These are by far the best pool of men ever on Idol and I love their diversity. If America gets it right, Luke and Danny will go home. Luke because he is just not good, and Danny because he's not as good as the others, or if he is he didn't prove it.

although im still trying to figure out why everyone (including Simon) fails to realize Chikezie did not gender bend his song. Whitney gender-bended a Luther Vandross song. I'm reall surprised Randy didnt note that to simon

Luke Menard number 4?! Seriously? He is horrendous to watch and even worse to listen to. I really did like David Cook for the first time this week. He took an extremely boring song and made it pretty rocking and awesome. The same can't be said for Jason Castro, who took a fantastic job, did a decent job for two thirds of it, then crapped out at the crescendo.

I'm not much of a music guy, more of a performance guy. As much as this is a "singing" competition, I've decided to base it entirely on who I like the most and who I would most like to see perform. I'm not gonna buy any of their CDs or go see them on tour or any of that crap. I just want to make the TV show as entertaining as possible, and for my money, keeping people like Danny and even Luke in the game will further that goal. Luke's a cappella training is very specific, but when he finally figures out that he should try out some instrumentless performances, he could deliver something special. With people like Archuleta, we've already seen the absolute best he has to offer, so why should I want to see more?

Youre kidding yourself if you think David A. is soo low. He already made the finale and putting Luke in #4 youre crazy. He sounded horribble and it wasnt even entertaining. I mean would anyone hear ever buy a Luke Menard CD. I know I wouldn't and most of America wouldn't either. My personel opinion the only 3 that would be successful recording artists are David C., Jason C., and Michael. I like David A. but I can't "Imagine" hearing him on the radio.
