American IdolThis is the final three-night week for American Idol. Tonight the top 8 men sing, tomorrow the top 8 women, then on Thursday, we’ll meet the Top 12. Last week the guys surpassed the women and one fresh-faced little boy was declared the winner of American Idol. It’s unclear why they’re even wasting time with having the next few months, but whatever, let’s go along for the ride.

Tonight’s theme: the 1980s. I get that they’re going through the decades, but then why is next week The Beatles and not the 1990s? And what of the ’00s? I don’t know a whole lot about music, but fellow writer Oscar Dahl expertly selected Which Songs the Guys Should Sing. It’s quite reasonable and will be interesting to see how close or far off he is.

Okay, you win. David got on my nerves. Dammit! Don't rant about the homeless. I hated David's song choice but the judges seem to disagree. I think it's time for Danny to go bye bye. Back to watching ... I need more number fingers! How many creative ways can you show me the number 4?

Sorry I meant Archuleta got on my nerves & I didn't like Hernandez's song choice. Too many Davids.

Glad you've come over to the anti-Arch side of things. And yes, there are too many Davids. Three of them could all be in the Top 12, crazy.

I have to completely disagree with the Danny comments. I think he is the next sanjaya. He has better vocals but he is the outsider compared to the rest who are left.

I should add, I think he is better than a couple remaining. But Im gonna get be extremely upset if the David's and Michael Johns end up getting voted out prior to Danny getting voted off

Danny is an outsider, but that shouldn't be held against him. In fact, it should encourage people to vote for him, because we're tired of the same old boring people.

Wow - David Cook was awesome. I was most disappointed with Michael Johns. He is getting uncomfortably screechy.
Please America - vote off Danny and Luke - for all of our sakes.

Archuleta wasn't bad, but it's going to be really hard to beat Imagine. Ever. I really enjoyed Noriega's performance. But, Castro and Cook were awesome. Maybe my two favorite performances this season.

American Idol is about finding vocal talent, David Hernandez has demonstrated he has talent and stage presents. Why should sexual preference make a difference and why should anyone make an issue of it. Are we Americans so narrow minded? David has a great personality, photogenic and good vocals. Whether or not he lands into the final four or not he has a future musical career. I for one congratulate him for his success.
