I just watched Extra and they said that Idol released a statement saying David would not be kicked off the show. I assume the other two under fire will be staying put too. If Diablo Cody can win an Oscar, I think David Hernandez can sing me a bad 80s song, ok?

There is a double standard here. If they dismissed a females, how can they not dismiss Hernandez. He is not the definition of an American Idol in my eyes when he is giving nude lap dances to other men.

Fox just *winks* at these controversies. Buzz = viewers = ad dollars pouring in. Of course they knew of his past and knew it would create a slew of publicity. Can we say "ka-ching".

Why can't American Idols give nude lap dances? Between this news and Diablo Cody winning an Oscar, it's a great year for former strippers.
