| American Idol is sending four poor souls home tonight: Who will they be? The four eliminated singers will almost certainly come from this group: Jason Yeager, Luke Menard, Robbie Carrico, Chikezie Eze, Amanda Overymyer, Kady Malloy, Kristy Lee Cook, Asia'h Epperson, and Alaina Whitaker. I wouldn't be surprised if any of those contestants went home tonight on American Idol. It's a very wide open field. With the large group of singers left, there's bound to be some big surprises - I guarantee the audience tonight will be caught totally off-guard with at least one of the eliminations. I'll be here throughout the hour updating live on who is safe and who is taking that long ride into the sunset. I'm all jacked up on coffee and rarin' to go. | Good, America is doing a pretty solid job thus far. But this means the second eliminated guy comes from the second row. So much for my Chikezie theory. Archuleta, Cook and Hernandez have to be safe, so it's obviously Menard or Carrico. |

How Oscar here doesn't have Kady as his pick to go blows my mind. Perhaps she'll be the fourth one that he didn't pick.

Hells no!!! Alexandrea is awesome, and this is so the wrong choice. Even worse for Oscar, both his picks to go were just deemed safe. We're in for some crappy shenanigans for the ladies this year.

Amanda is memorable, Alexandrea is not. It's how it goes. Because THIS . . . is American Idol.

Crappy shenanigans for a crappy group of chicks, I say. I miss Mindy Doo! This does feel like a reversal from last year though -- last year it was all about the ladies, this year it's the gents. Incidentally, I liked Alexandria well enough and Amanda weirds me out when I watch her, so I'm not exactly pleased here either. Though as long as Kady is the other lady to go I think all will be well with the world.
