I'm guessing that Overmeyer's fanbase is going to be an avid, intense one. They're all gonna be voting like hell for her. According to DialIdol [not always accurate, I know], they had Overmeyer in first place. Still, I might actually have to agree with The Editor for once - crappy shenanigans indeed.

Yes, Amanda was memorabl (memorably terrible), but I think Alexandrea has a very unique look and style as well. If someone generic and dull like Asiah went home, I could deal, but Miss Lushington still has spunk and funk.

Re DialIdol: it also had Jason Yeager as number 2 to Archuleta, so that's kind of worthless.

Apparently putting something in brackets cuts it out of the post. After I said "according to dialidol" I put this in brackets: "which as we all know can be exceedingly inaccurate."

I dunno, Alexandrea seemed a bit young (meaning her performances came off as pageanty like virtually all pre-19 contestants') and her voice always had a weird stuffed-up-nose-ishness to it. I think her initial performance was funky and fun, yeah, but not all that great vocally, and this week she was boring. Asia-guttural stop-hhhhh has the dead dad and even with some weird vocal crap, still forced out a big note -- and also went last. I wouldn't say one is necessarily more talented than the other, but I can see why Alexandrea went. I do think she should have lasted longer, but eh, I can't be too upset when the highest she could ever have hoped to place was 10th.

What the huh? Haha! Well, I was wrong. That blows my mind. Guess Kady's coasting on the personality.

Well, at least Ryan said my two picks to go (Alaina and Kady) were both in the bottom three. I hate it when they cry, but the lyrics at the start of the song were almost to ironically funny and cruel. Also, though Randy says this is the year of the young ones, the two youngest girls just got booted.

Yeah Hef, Kady's performance was the single worst one of the last two weeks, so the only explanation is: that Britney impression is carrying her through!
