"So you're bisexual and don't care who knows it? Good for you! But would you make a point of making a potential employer aware of that? I'm heterosexual, and I wouldn't. It's no one else's business and more to the point, it is immaterial. An audition is essentially a job interview. Why make anything but your singing ability an issue?" I agree that an audition is a job interview. HOWEVER, it's a job interview for a job as a potential international star. When you're a star, there is no such thing as a private life.

"Being gay doesn't mean you have to act like a girl. The swishy, girly mannerisms are just irritating. If indeed he was voted off for being gay, he has no one to blame but himself. He made an issue of it by the way he behaved. " Also, I know that just because someone's gay, it doesn't mean that they have to be effeminate but THOSE GUYS EXIST. It's unfortunate for the guys who don't act that way but, they are 100% real. I commend the people on this forum who said they had a problem with his ATTITUDE as a PERSON instead of automatically attributing it to his sexuality. From the way you talk about him, I think you might have a problem with gay people in general. Backtracking to the privacy issue, are you saying he shouldn't be himself in order to gain public approval?

"When he blew of Simon's comments... I knew he was gone. I liked him at first, but... once I saw the video of him being a jack@$$, I just couldn't stand him anymore. " In case you haven't noticed darling, Simon's not exactly Father Christmas. I appreciated Danny's nerve and was glad that he could push Simon's buttons a little bit (although Seacrest has been doing an excellent job of that).

i know, it shouldn't matter. but sadly, the majority of americans who watch "idol" are prolly homophobic or anti-gay, and won't want someone who is gay to bi on the show. it shouldn't be that way, but i don't think it will change anytime soon. but i'm glad danny is proud of who is and won't change for anyone. he doesn't give a crap if people don't like his sexual orientation, and that's awesome!

" In case you haven't noticed darling, Simon's not exactly Father Christmas." In case you haven't noticed Simon is almost always right. He's in this business for a reason DARLING. Danny was not a good singer. His last performance was BAD, there is no way around that. And who cares if he pushes his buttons... lol... he get's 40 million dollars to "not be father christmas". |
