American Idol, like all reality shows, has a wide spectrum of alumni. There are those former Idols who have gone on to bigger and better things, those who have won awards and topped the charts. And, then, there are those others who have flopped, been arrested, or simply disappeared from the public eye. Having almost been through a full six seasons, there is a huge pool of former contestants to look at when asking the question: who are the best Idols ever? On the eve of crowning the season six American Idol champion, we've decided to look back on the first six seasons with one thought in mind: if American Idol were to do an All-Star show, who would be in the top 12? What would a dream season look like? To read the rest, click here.

Kelly Clarkson is best thing to come out of this show. Carrie Underwood has been successful also but it has been a lot easier for her because of the shows popularity. Actually it has made it easy for anybody that has been on the show. Kelly has made it with her talent and personality. Plus she writes everything she sings now which shows what a great talent she is.

I have to say, Jordan blew me away at the end. But i feel it was an unfair advantage to her. The last song was suited for. It brought out her best. Isn't it fair to say the song was not geared to Blake. To make the contest fair, they should each play to their strong suits. I am not taking away anything from Jordan, but i thought it was not fair.

Life isn't fair buddy. Each final has forced 2 contestants with different styles to perform the same song. It has been that way every season. Do you think Bo liked singing what he did in his final?

I'm not going to limit myself to six of each gender. I would dump Ruben and Elliot and add Taylor and Tamyra to your list.

Although I do agree with many on this list, there are some I didn't agree with. Anyways, why bother giving reasons when I can just list my own. Right? Disclosure: This list WILL be biased to an extent. Girls:[No Part. order] - Carrie Underwood - Kelly Clarkson - Tamyra Gray - Katherine McPhee - Jordin Sparks - Clay Aiken That's right, no Melinda at all. Guys: [No part. Order] - Blake Lewis - Elliot Yamin - Chris Daughtry - Bo Bice - Ruben Studdard [Why not?] - Sanjaya Malakar Hey, can you blame me? He lightens the whole mood up. Plus making the reference that Aiken has many fans can fit Sanjaya as well. Though, there are many haters out there as well.... Anyways those are mine. That'd make an awesome Special.
