American Idol: Why Blake Lewis doesn't want to win

Blake Lewis does not want to win American Idol and American Idol does not want Blake Lewis to win American Idol. Are we clear?

There has been much talk of late regarding the ramifications of a Blake Lewis victory come tomorrow night on American Idol. The issue has nothing to do with Jordin Sparks, so we'll leave her out of this for now. There are, then, two issues to discuss. One, the reasons Blake Lewis doesn't want to win and, two, evidence that Blake Lewis is not trying to win.

I agree that Blake doesn't want to win and I can't blame him. I remember the crap they pulled with Kelly Clarkson making her put out a movie and do the music they wanted. It is no surprise she left them after her first album.

i dont think blake would have made it this far if he didnt wanna win. we need someone unique and fun out there and blake is the one. tell me there arent so many others like jordin? you cant cause there arent

Yep, Oscar. With his tattoos, shirt-tail hanging out and devil-may-care attitude, Blake looked like a guy from auto shop class that got caught smoking cigs in the boy's room and had to perform at the high school talent show for punishment. It was more of a rehearsal showing than a guy going great-guns for all the marbles--but that might just be his cool-cat style. I thought the stage totally swallowed him up. Jordin does nothing for me, the big princess, but she's going to walk away with the honors. Pretty dull show; last year's finale with Hicks and McPhee was TONS more entertaining.

okay you know what. i dont really want blake to win either. but seeing the way american idol made the finale so biased and all in jordin's favor pissed me off. jordin is fake.

Why would you write, this you are going to make people not vote for him. Why would you do that, by the way on dialidol Jordin is ahead by 10%. Plase keep voting for Blake. I agree with you Brit too

You guys seriously want Blake to put out that song? He did horrible with it because it doesn't fit his style and he doesn't have the voice for it. If he wins he won't have any input on what kind of album he does. He won't be allowed to put any of his own songs on it. He probably won't be allowed to do the whole beat boxing thing. He will be stuck doing things he doesn't want to do and singing songs that aren't his style. It has been rumored for awhile now that Blake didn't want to win this thing. He just wanted to get noticed. You would be doing him a favor not voting for him.
