I think Sanjaya needs to go home, stop feeling guilty for the guy, he can't sing, why put him through, i think people are playing games with his head... Sorry but he's bad!!

Cool down..Take it easy. Sanjaya will go in few weeks. This is having fun with some skills and publicity. If sanjaya wasn't there the show wouldn't have this much ratings. This is all meadia and publicity and some people want to show their names with the news making all these strike and all. Why?? So stupid ...

Man-gina(as in va) has to go... Fun & games are over. You have people getting kicked off who can actually sing and have a future. Sanjaya's future is selling himself in West Hollywood..

It's obvious that this is all just a publicity stunt by the producers. Like all reality television there is no true fairness. Sanjaya is not a singer, he has proven that over and over again. He is, however, proven to be an entertainer as the judges observed.
No matter who gets booted off, I believe the strong singers like Gina, will have no trouble getting further in their vocal careers.

I cannot stand watching Sanjaya stay. He is ruining the show for me. He is also getting a little cocky and cheeky. I feel bad for the others that can really sing and he is steeling their dreams. I also think Hailey needs to put some clothes on.
Callers - vote for the other 7 to stay and Mr. Cheeky will get the boot!!!

iam done with American Idol,first they kept Sangina and voted off Sundance head, then they kept Sangina and voted of Sabrina, then they again kept Sangina and voted off Gina. I agree it is a publicity stunt and it isn;t even interesting anymore. It is very sad to see the ruination of a show that has been the vehicle for so many talanted people to obtain music careers. there will hopefully be another show like it of course without Simon

How do you KNOW he wasn't in the bottom three? Does anyone audit the vote totals? NO! What about AI's disclaimer that the producers can alter the vote totals? Only a fool would think that the votes they announce on the show are real... they are what the PRODUCERS WANT THEM TO BE. Show me proof otherwise, and I'll believe the vote is objective, if not, it has no credibility, period.

To all those people making a joke out of AI this season I do wonder if and when Sanjaya puts out his very own CD...how many of you will actually want to spend your hard earned money to buy it? Will you spend your money to go hear him sing? You people will only break his heart down the road because he's a kid and I do not think he truly understands what is going on. Put him out of his misery and get him OFF this show.

Ugh.

Sanjaya is brave, and a great entertainer (I'm not a teenager, I don't support anti-Idol websites, and I'm not related to him or anything). I enjoy watching him, and you all enjoy discussing him, so he deserves to be there more than the screechy Ginas and Sundances of the world. As I said earlier, if he's still as charming, thin and hirsute when he's 40, he will be considered one of the great success stories of Hollywood.
