It is very sickening that Sanjayi is still on the show - much more talented people are gone because of him - if he wins this year - Idol should be pulled off the air - it is no longer a contest but a JOKE !!!!!! GO HOME SANJAYI!!!

I wont quit watching A.Idol because it is always a pleasure to hear Melinda sing. Her composure and voice are comparable to Aretha, Pearl Bailey and Nina Simone - the best of the best. Good Luck Melinda!

What the fudge. R u frggin surius . Gina. K im not a big fan of hurs but she dsnt deserve to get out. She is way beter than Sanjaya, Phil and Haley. I cnt beliv it. I was sure that Phil was gonna go. Urggggggggggggh

The show is becoming a joke. You need to limit the # of calls per phone and the length of time you have to call in after the show. A dress code for the girls might not be a bad idea either, this is a singing competition(as Simon points out) not a who can show the most skin contest.

American Idol is becoming a joke. how can the american public think sanjaya was better than gina. i can't believe he is still on the show.if this keeps up they will have to find a new way to vote so it is fair.

I can't believe you keep sanjaya on the show, HE CAN'T SING! This is not a popularity contest, it's a singing contest.

They dont need to make this a soap opera, the show itself is awesome. Gina is awesome and now its a soap opera, gotta say I dont care anymore this obviously is a joke and not a REAL TV show. Who REALLY knows who got the most votes, we dont, neither does the public, its turned into a REAL DUMB SHOW.

What a travesty that Sanjaya continues to make a mockery of the real American Idol Show. I've not been as angry & disheartened over a contestant in my life. Gina doesn't deserve to be eliminated. I actually thought of no longer watching just like everyone else but we'd only be hurting those with real talent who've worked so hard to be there. Sanjaya is a prime example of how some can ruin a good thing for others. Voting left up to the public online has been taken over by a host of illiterates -Howard Stern, Sanjaya and their "gang" of thieves. Stealing what belongs to the rest of those with real talent. What a sad sad affair. My heart goes out to Gina tonight & others in the weeks to come. FOX needs to rethink how this has destroyed a good thing.

I was shocked that Gina was voted off,Sanjaya should of been gone 3 weeks ago. I don't even want to watch it as long as he is still on, he can't even sing. Gina had class all the way...... I blame the judges for even picking for sending him to Hollywood
