Sanjaya MalakarThis week, legendary crooner Tony Bennett visits American Idol and its remaining contestants, ostensibly to impart some wisdom to the kids.  The real reason Tony is there is, I would guess, to promote an album, but this seems ridiculous course of action for an elderly, distinguished man like Tony.  Perhaps he just loves the show.  That would be both more forgivable and inexplicable, but I'm betting it has something to do with an album.

The real question, though, is this:  What, exactly, is Tony Bennett going to teach these nine young, naïve singers?

Oh Oscar, is that humor...? Unoriginal, and more stale than the, "Do you know the easiest way to Carnegie Hall...?" routine." At least let Tony get there before judging him and his intentions. It's a silly world when one is critized before a given event even happens. And inexplicable...? According to you it seems as one gets older they should take their wisdom and life's experience and just die with it--and not share with others interested in doing what you've mastered. Total nonsense article, filled with youthful hubris and preemptively judgemental. Oscar dear, you are certainly neither the brightest candle nor sharpest knife in the box.

Oh, Experienced Broad. Why do people insist on getting offended by the most minor and innocent of slights?

I am ashamed of all the comments that I am reading in regards to Sanjaya--Any Moron can hear that he has a voice--Just does'nt exactly know how to use it--he cetainly has karisma--I am not with howard stern , I happen to like watching sanjaya--I am a 45 year old women. Melinda Doolittle makes me sick to watch --I am so sick of her Did I do that crap every week. Lay off Sanjaya ---The judges treat him like crap and give him no encouragement--they treat Haley the same way---they are basically on theyre own--Judges definately have there favorites. I think the 17 year old under dog is holding up rather well considering all the crap that is being thrown at him--but every one is making sanjaya famous so keep it up all ignorant un happy with life people--he definately deserver it in my opinion!!!!!
