Would a Sanjaya Win Bring Record Idol Ratings?

As millions of American Idol viewers swarm to Thursday night with hopes of seeing Sanjaya finally hit the road, the ratings swell has reached an early season high. American idol normally does not hit its twenty five million viewer nights until the final six or so, but as fascination with the tone deaf teen keeps the show omnipresent in the entertainment news, so do the rubberneckers amass with hopes of witnessing his imminent demise. Which raises a good question, does Fox want Sanjaya off the show at this point?

What really bothers me is Sanjaya came out with this weird hairdo that to me was like a shove it I'm here and there is nothing you can do about it. That really surprised me the most. For a 17 yr. old I found that very disrespectful and so did my kids who are older and younger then taht.

OMG! I used to like Sanjaya because i'm black and half Indian so I was like cool and Indian guy who can sing. But m only 10 and i LUV to sing and im pretty good for my age but im way better than Sanjaya. He is just buggin these are th people who should have stayed insead of Sanjaya. Paul Kim, Sabrina Sloan, AJ tabaldo, Sundance Head, Stephanie Edwards , chris Sligh, and Jarod Cotter. OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH! Hes buggin.

I think the whole Sanjaya situation is a conspiracy. All the Lost fans who hate it being on at 10:00 are trying to make AI look mad by voting for the worst singer. Then nobody will wathc it so Lost could come back on at 9:00. That is my brothers view on it.

America needs Sanjaya now. A perfect baffoon in our times should be groomed (like a new Harpo Marks from the past) He's innocent enough to know he hasn't used drugs or really found himself sexually- every young person's dream to "bring along" in any fantasy they choose. What wonderful comic relief from these difficult but boring times of more of what America is really like keeps hitting us in the face.

I can't believe that FOX wouldn't have some provision in their contracts where they could pull Sanjaya off if there were evidence of funny business by a group like VoteForTheWorst. FOX knows exactly what they are doing ....

I think that Sanjaya deserves to win so he can prove that criticism doesn't effect what you think and do.

*Ashley is not the only "big fan" of Sanjaya, I am his #1 fan till death.
