http://www.buddytv.com/articles/amrican-idol-vftw.jpgLast week, the odds makers were unanimous with their American Idol predictions: there was no way in the name of bad music that Sanjaya would be voted off.  This week, surprisingly, they have changed their tune putting Sanjaya back in the number one spot for most likely to be shown the door.  Why the sudden turnabout?  Do they think the growing campaign to foil American Idol by voting Sanjaya to the top is losing strength?  Do they know something we don't?  If not Sanjaya, who do they suspect will be the next to be sent home from the American Idol stage?

I can honestly say that if Sanjaya Malakar wins American Idol, I will never watch the program again. I have watched every single year, and love the program. It will be a shame if the right people don't make it to the final four, then two!! What a shame!!!

My husband and I have watched American Idol for all the years it has been on. If Sanjaya Malakar wins this year, I will never watch American Idol again. I have talked with several friends and they all say the same thing. What a shame! Their are so many good singers that have been booted off the show, such a shame!

I have been following american idol as long as it has been on; and i believe this year it has become teen idol. Sanjaya is a joke. How can a young boy with such little talent still remain on a show where people that have talent are getting kicked off. How is that fair? You are lowering the standards of american idol and making this show a joke. I believe as long as Sanjaya stays on you have lost another fewer.

What is wrong with the American public. They keep Sanjaya!!!! The boy doesn't have the strength in his voice to have even made it to the top 12. Is this a cutie contest or a singing contest. Give me a break and show some backbone. Vote him off.....

I have watched IDOL from the beginning. I'm 55 YOA and truly enjoyed watching talented people receive an opportunity to show their talent. This years program has become a complete joke. I can not believe that someone with so little signing ability such as Sanjaya could still be there. Chris may not have had a great week, but he is far and away a much more talented perform. It may be time for the producers of this remarkable show to pull the plug on Sanjaya. If this no talent moron continues to stay around while such talented performers are voted off, it just shows that the voting has been skewed.

Sanjaya has no talent. What a waste.

I think this season of American Idol is absolutely rediculous. To keep Sanjaya on is hurting alot of very talented people who deserve to stay as long as possible on the show. This has become a joke, it just proves that these viewer voting shows do not work! Whoever is voting for Sanjaya have made a complete joke out of this show, and I just hope they realize what they are doing to talented well desereved contenders.

Frankly, Sanjaya should do the honorable thing and step aside. It's clear that his success is based on a joke. Personally, were I his mother, he would have stepped down by now. I would not stand by while while my child was made a fool of for all of America to see - he is a child after all. He has made it through yet another round this evening. This is ridiculous.
