American Idol fans would rather starve than watch Sanjaya win

Sanjaya Malakar's continued presence on American Idol is apparently driving some people right over the edge.

One fan has found herself so upset about Sanjaya that she's allegedly going on a hunger strike until "American Idol voters wise up, and stop voting Sanjaya through each week."

"I have not been contacted as of yet by any American Idol camp or anyone associated with Sanjaya stating that he is going to leave the show in order for my strike to end," says J on her MySpace blog, Starvation for Sanjaya (www.myspace.com/starvationforsanjaya)

I have searched all over the internet to find out if Diana Ross actually sang I'm Gonna Make You Love Me with Marvin Gaye. I found one listing at Shoutband.com or something like that. But it may be a mistake. I know she sang it with the Temptations but I thought she may have sang it with Marvin also. Even she said she did, on American Idol. Someone please find out! I can't find much on the internet!! Thantks

Poor J. It will take her many weeks before she starves to death. Where should we send the plastic flower memorial wreath just in case? Sanjaya..not the worst...but...not the best contestant either. I thought AI was just a TV show. Maybe not. sky

It's strange that America Idol Fans let the out of date judges influence them. Sanjaya sings in perfect pitch that's why we vote for him. No he doesn't sing like a fat black women and never will, but neither ever will justin timberlake. Melinda has the stongest voice. My fifteen year old daughter commented that she would never see Melinda in concert but would probably see Sanjaya. That's an American Idol. That's why we vote for Sanjaya (I'm not Indian) It's not a singing contest it's an American Idol contest. The Simon, Paula, Randy are out of date.

Sanjaya is always FLAT!! He is the worst "singer" (LOL!!!!! "singer") that I have ever heard in my life! AMERICAN IDOL IS A BIG JOKE!!

As a huge Idol fan since it began, I have to say that this is the first season that I have no interest in watching. I have been able to pick at least one of the last two contestants each season from the audition. This year I was blown away by Ebony Jointer
only to realized that after singing "I believe in you and me" better than Whitney could at this time, we would never even see her in Hollywood. What ever happened to this potential idol with the incredible voice that would have her out of the competition?

After watching last weeks American Idol it has become clear to me that it is American Idol that wants Sanjaya to win this contest. When he was prancing around the floor shaking his hair you kept showing one a little girl that was crying and then had him go over and hug her on camera. You must have shown her at least 6 times. Then when Melinda was singing the same little girl was crying, but you only showed her once and Ryan never mentioned it, nor did anyone have Melinda give the girl a hug. I am, as well as everyone else I have talked to, tired of this. I never before believed the show was fixed for ratings only, but we have all changed our minds. This will be the last season for this show as far as we are all concerned. It is no longer a honest singing contest. It has become completely about what you think you can do to increase your ratings. But I feel you have read this wrong, and it is going to cost you your show. You have certainly lost most people's respect.

time is running out for Sanjaya be patient guys he will go, i dont think it will be much longer my prediction will be Wednesday night show he will go...
