It's been some time since American Idol favorite Mario Vazquez left the contest for 'personal reasons', leaving a host of questions in his wake. When it was later suspected that Vazquez was homosexual and had been forced from the competition, Vazquez and American Idol producers alike were incredulous, yet tight lipped on the mythological 'personal reasons' Vazquez had sited. Now, a former American Idol employee is coming forward after being in two years of failed negotiations with American Idol over alleged sexual harassment from Vazquez, and the battle looks headed for court. If a trial exposes pressure on Vazquez to leave over the allegations, could it also expose more dirty back stage dealings involving the producers? To read the rest, click here.

Come on, Idol is the gayest show on television, so what scandal? I wouldn't go into that studio crapper for all the tea in China. What's next, revelations that Simon and that manly Ryan Seacrest were playing a little grab-ass before showtime? Even Randy Jackson calling some of the guys "dolls" and such, there's not a lot of bone in that limp wrist either. Let's face the facts, would you be surprised if ANY of the current male contestants, or past ones, were caught in a police sting in a bathhouse? What kind of real man tells his pals: "No beer and porn tonight, guys, I'm sitting in a stadium full of fat women to try out for American Idol." Let's accept Idol for what it is, Queer Eye For The Singing Guy, and not take these B.S. lawsuits too seriously.

It never occurred to me that Mario Vasquez was other than a straight man. This guy truly can sing; I was so disappointed when they dropped him from the show. But, should he have been dropped for the reason given. We all loved him. He's such a good looking guy and can r-e-a-l-l-y sing. I wish American Idol would bring him back. I hope we will see more of him on E. T./The Insider. We would like to see more of him...he's a public favorite.

I think Roger has some serious homophobe issues to work out. If you see gay in everything, Roger, perhaps you are projecting your own desires onto these attractive and talented men. Get help for your homo rage.

Hey guys, did you hear about these two contests? Katherine McPhee's asking for input on which of two endings she should go with for her new video (http://bix.yahoo.com/contest/6050); and there's a Lip Sync contest to win a signed guitar by Good Charlotte (http://bix.yahoo.com/goodcharlotte).

American Idol is rigged. Why are better vocalists voted off and Sanjaya stays?
