Well, that was a surprising episode. Last night's American Idol Results Show eliminated four singers from the show, cutting the remaining contestants down from 16 to 12. These eliminations were nothing short of shocking. But, we'll get to those in a second. First, let's take a look at your 2007 American Idol Top 12.To read the rest, click here.

If I'm not mistaken, wasn't whats her name Barba, (yeah I do know her first name, but I just don't like her!) the one who made the comment that God just liked good people? She said that because of the girl that was in the group with her and her friend got eliminated. I believe that she got eliminated because whats her name, and her friend, couldn't get their act together, and this poor girl got stuck in the middle of those two. I just didn't like Barba from the begining and I am soooooooooooooo glad she got the boot!!!

Well, at the risk of restating the perfectly obvious for the billionth time, Sanjaya has multiple-voting miscreants to thank for his success thus far, rather than his talent (such as it is). But should his loyal following of tone-deaf 14 year olds cause one of the two true talents (Melinda or LaKisha) to be excluded, that will be a tragedy, indeed. Well, in the American Idol sense, that is. If there is any justice, both Sanjaya and Chris Richardson (whose nasally voice is, to me, like nails on a chalk board) will be sent home next week. If there is any justice, Blake Lewis will emerge as the last male standing. If there is any justice, either Melinda or LaKisha (probably Melinda) will become the next American Idol.

I'll be honest, I don't understand the frustration with Sundance getting booted last night. Sure he was better than Sanjaya, but at this point is there any male including Sundance that had a chance of winning this thing? There is no male performer that is safe next week, and that'show it should be, as a whole, they just aren't that good this year.

First of all, Sanjaya has about as much business in the top twelve as I do in a bikini. Hailey probably shouldn't be there, but will be out the first 2 weeks anyway, so it doesn't matter. Both Sundance and Sabrina should be there. That being said, Melinda or Lakisha will win the show. Based on performance, they are lightyears ahead of the other competitors.

America complained about the unfair voting system last season. Now we see it has stayed the same despite the complaints. The contestants are being voted in by popularity rather than talent.Obviously!! Haley and Sanjaya do not deserve to be in the final 12. When will the producers change this voting system. When we all stop watching the show?

I truly believe that Haley is still there because people felt sorry for her after the abuse she took from Simon. That's why Simon needs to be careful about how he influences people's votes. But I do believe he was dead on with Haley...she is not in the same league with the rest of the women...not even close...all of her songs sound the same to me - like a Broadway production. I'm sorry to see Sabrina go - she's a very talented singer. The only reason my faith was just a little bit restored in American Idol last night is because Antonella was voted off - YEA!

Nene, it was not Antonella who made that remark. It was her friend, Amanda. Antonella actually looked uncomfortable when Amanda made that remark.
