Like him or not, He is a legend and all of us loved him at one time (even if we're not sure now) I think it would be big for ratings. I love the show and I'll watch if he's there or not.

I will watch with grim fascination if Michael Jackson appears on Idol. Michael has paid some high prices for his life choices, and I do think Idol would be taking a risk on his current demeanor. No question, Jackson knows the music business. Will he handle his personal life choices appropriately to be a respected staff member of Idol? Who knows. When Paul McCartney appears on Idol I will watch with sheer joy. What can music royalty contribute to the young people who are now exactly where Paul was in the early 1960s? Young and eager, looking for their first big exposure and first break. I do hope that Idol will show portions of Paul McCartney and Michael Jackson coaching the participants. Any of them should revere advice from royalty. They all need coaching in marketing themselves. Almost all need help on appearance to match their music style and body shape. Idol is a singing competition, and the singers must be marketable and appealing to the public to sell recordin

I definitely think MJ should be on Idol. He is a legend and could give the contestants a lot of good advice. He is a great performer and has a lot of experience that the contestants could learn a lot from
