America loved Taylor Hicks on American Idol, but will America flock to buy his albums? In my mind I dont think so..

Yeah, I have to agree with you sunny. I think he'll be popular on the AI tour, but it's hard to imagine him as a great recording artist. I think his charisma played a huge factor in him winning, and not so much his talent. That's not to say he can't sing, he can, but I doubt he has the ability to create great CD's. Also, odds are against him as Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood the only two out of the four previous Idol winners to see true success in the recording industry.
