| Yo... In the house. What's your thoughts on tonights telecast so far? I am really not understanding the dance, but dude has a voice. He's unique, I think that's his hook... Plus he's got Simon on his side... Paula is sometimes very wishy washy, and she doesn't criticize unless the contestant is absolutely horrible. Simon is right on this one, dude has the voice, but his performance was not on point. These contestants all have to take risks, but some of them forget that American Idol is aPOP music contest, they want mainstream. 1iClosed asked "paula's on drugs at times" : Paula was really only a mediocre singer who was cute with a lot of good promotion so you can only take her opinion to an extent, Simon and Randy at least have the producer credentials. rantingmaven asked "i think that someone should create a r&b or free flow rap compeition" : There are a couple locally broadcast "Hip Hop Idol" type programs, we will see something national soon I'd bet. 1iClosed asked "that's a good point...she did have some pop hits but was all sugared up for those...do you agree with simon the most and paula the elast generally?" : Simon typically clowns, and that's what they pay him to do and they expect it from him. I respect him though, because he tells it like it is. Paula lets a lot of mediocre stuff fly through because she doesn't have a producers ear. 1iClosed asked "on mtv / vh1?" : Nah, most of them are on local affiliates. rantingmaven asked "i like this gal" : She's got a super bright future. She's got a look, a sound, and she's quite advanced for her age. rantingmaven asked "poor choice of outfit" : I was just thinking the same thing, she looks like she fell out of a gap commercial. Vocals were quite clean though... 1iClosed asked "so you like her?\" : She's got it flowing. She didn't really hit it tonight. Of course Paula liked the outfit... rantingmaven asked "hahaha! i like this tv dj biz" : This is my first time handling it, I enjoy it. emdoj asked "poor thing, she looks ready to cry" : Happy Birthday to Billy! 1iClosed asked "i'm afriad that she might not make it" : She deserves another shot, but in this competition its one and done if you flop... emdoj asked "The "powerhouse" doesn't fit with the childish do-up" : It was a cross between a bad high school musical like Simon said, and the Gap commercial I mentioned.. rantingmaven asked "yup...she has to keep learning and growin FAST if she makes it to the next round" : At this point in the game the comp is pretty even, so you have to be on your A game every time. redsiren asked "good song choice" : You know on first sight you were laughing along with me thinking, oh snap whats this nerd doing... Then when he sang I was like oh snap! Bill Gates Jr. settin' it off... FalcoTV asked "He looks like the kid in Jerry Mcquire's ugly big brother..." : Tha |
