Ronald and Christina were the biggest story on The Amazing Race 12. The father/daughter combo started out the race on rocky ground, with Ronald constantly bickering at his daughter. It got uncomfortable for viewers at times, but Ronald was open about the fact that he needed to change, that he needed to show more respect for his daughter. And, you know what? He did change and, once that happened, Ronald and Christina became a force to be reckoned with on The Amazing Race. They ended up in second place, but looked poised to be million dollar winners throughout the final leg. We got the chance to speak with Ron and Chris yesterday and they were especially cordial. Below you will find both the written transcript and full mp3 audio of the interview. To read the rest, click here.

Ron and Christina are the most awesome cross-generational team ever on TAR. They really deserved to win. Too bad cab drivers have so much control over the outcome of the competition.

I enjoybed this years Amazing Race more than any other. I love that older and younger family members worked together. It was nice to see a great race that is wholesome and does not use sex, drugs and other taboo topics to get ratings.

So it came down to a taxi ride, again! I wish CBS had shown that taxi ride and the role it played instead of making it seem that it was solely about Christina's finishing the Road Block behind Rachel. This has got to be the most heart-warming TAR father-daughter story/team! At the end, there wasn't a dry eye at my TAR party. I hope to see them on future shows so we can see how they do!

Yeah, I'm upset that they didn't show the cab ride either. But, I guess they wanted a couple more minutes of suspense.

I am so disappointed that Ron and Christina did not win but I am glad to see that they have developed such as an amazing relationship with each other.

they sucked fat ass. Ron is a blowhard. and christina is about as insincere as it gets with her "we're raising money for Burkina Faso" ebay thing. they won $50,000 for second place, why not donate a little of THAT money to Burkina Faso?

How do we know that they aren't, whatever their prize is? W/ their telling us about the orphanage and allowing us to bid, we can all get involved. W/ more people involved, more money can be raised.
