CBS has renewed The Amazing Race for a thirteenth season. The long running reality competition series is currently airing its twelfth season on CBS. There has seemingly always been uncertainty regarding the future of The Amazing Race, the series always being on the verge of cancellation. The series' twelfth season was originally intended to air in early 2008, but when Viva Laughlin stunk up the joint, CBS quickly plugged Race into their Sunday at 8pm time slot. The series has averaged around 12 million viewers this season, in large part thanks to its NFL football lead-in. There is no word yet as to when a thirteenth season will film or air.

No reality show rehashing in the cast!!!!! Rob and Amber were bad enough in Season 7 and All-Stars. A big part of the show is seeing all the fresh faces that you have no history with.

I like when they bring back old people I guess to each's own! I would love to see them use everyone in the house of the last big brother to compete in the Amazing Race Season 13 it would be awesome!

I would be ok with Eric and Jess being on TAR, but pleeease no Donatos! I don't think I could stand seeing Dick berate people and Dani complain all the time.

I really hope they bring back Kynt and Vyxsin. And definetly NOT nate and Jen because they freakin suck!!
