The Amazing Race's Rob Mariano Speaks About His New Show, 'Tontine'

Last week, we ran a story about Rob Mariano from The Amazing Race, and an upcoming reality show he's involved in called Tontine. Information at that time was scarce, and what information we did have was vague. We knew that Rob Mariano was involved in the show somehow and that casting calls would be occurring across the nation over the course of the summer. We knew that the show would have fifteen contestants competing in mental and physical challenges across the globe for 100 days on all seven continents. We knew that the players would be attempting to acquire all 15 keys, one of which each contestant begins the show with. And, most importantly, we knew that the show boasted the largest prize in reality show history, $10 million.

Woo Hoo, can't wait. Sounds like a very intriguing show. And to to[ it off we get to see the master himself, Boston Rob. I know he will be a great host.

heard about this on the radio the other day....100 Days??! That works out to a hundred grand a day..should be cool!

how'd it go? I couldn't get down there. NYC is too far from Rochester and it said something about not spending $20 to get there. I guess I'll submit online.

it was cool. a gang of people out there but i got in. it was pretty smooth. they asked a bunch of questions to try to get a feel for your person. you already know what they're looking for: competitive, physically and mentally fit people. yea rochester's a hike, check it out online. just don't step on my toes and we'll be alright...see ya!

I agree with justme. He married his million. The best part of The Amazing Race All Stars was when Amber and Rob were eliminated.
