Is 'Age Of Love' Couple On The Rocks?

Earlier in the week, a story popped up on Yahoo News saying that tennis star Mark Philippoussis had broken off his relationship with girlfriend, Amanda Salinas. The next day, the story had magically vanished and NBC refused to comment on the status of their relationship. Last month, Philippoussis chose Salinas over the much older Jennifer Braff on NBC's summer romance reality show, Age of Love. If the story is true and if the couple truly are no longer together, one can only ask: is anyone surprised? Very few reality couples make it after appearing on a dating show together.

The Bachelor is a perfect example of couples who can't seem to get it together. In fact, the only long-lasting relationship to come out of that show is that Trista and Ryan Sutter from The Bachelorette. Recent bachelor Lorenzo Borghese couldn't work things out with the woman he chose, Jennifer Wilson. He even tried to date runner-up Sadie Murray and that fizzled quickly as well. Here are the top three reasons why it jut never works out.

I don't think this is true.. i heard they have gone on a 2 week vacation to Manatwai Island with Mark's friends.

That Amanda is 45. What the heck he seems in her - he can buy himself plastic breasts. She cannot talk or toss the salad and is ugly as hell.

I would much rather that he ravages her - if such thing is possible after the entire team having her - and then he cheats with 12 year old and is charged with pedophilia. Nothing happens to the kid - just two villans are gone.

Boulder: how do you know? During the show, Tessa brought in her friend from Denver. Are you that friend? If you are, you didn't seem supportive on the show, and now you are trying to convince people that they are still together?

Why don't you investigate your information before posting it! Andy and Tessa are still together, just staying away from people like you!

I hope they split up because my friend, Carol, and I agree that she was such a faker-face that she doesn't deserve him. She was manipulative, nauseating and imperious. Can't he go back to one of the other two remaining women? They had much more strength of character and moral grounding.

This is Carol and my friend in Charlotte, VT is right on. Amanda was too immature and stocker-like. I bet she is the very jealous type and Mark does not need that. I hope he looks for a 'cougar' age women and finds someone more compatible and interesting.

The show is over. It appears that Mark and Amanda are trying to work out their relationship in the real world. In her own words, we are taking it slowly. There is no plans for marriage. Mark is a celebrity and Amanda is not. She has a job....going to school to finish degree and then who knows. Let them sort it out....find something else...jump over to Big Brothers...or something

I'm trying to find out, when was the series actually filmed, so basically I'd like to know how long Mark and Amanda are together??
