Mark Consuelos Offers His Thoughts on 'Age of Love'

Many viewers noted that host Mark Consuelos seemed to be absent from the last few episodes of Age of Love, but he was still engaged enough to blog about the experience for NBC.

Mark is husband to soap actress and daytime chat show host Kelly Ripa and father to three children, so he has some perspective on what it takes to make a relationship work once the initial excitement of a new romance has worn off. So what does he think about Mark Philippoussis's choice of 20-something Kitten Amanda Salinas?

Both lost, lacking sophistication, maturity. Who knows maybe they are doing AManda threesome style. She was doing the whole team. I thought Mark the Poo like them without experience so he can shine. Show was just zero. Bad host, ugly 'batchelor' the ugliest winner. Gross. Shame on you NBC. I am no longer watching any of your f-king shows. You showed us 20s like procreation cows. Amanda is a poster child to fake, dumb and silicone.

It's always the comment that someone's jealous. But Amanda made catty remarks about age and other things. Amanda isn't very intelligent--
read her quotes. She's quite inarticulate. Amanda wears heavy makeup and her body definitely seems surgically enhanced. Jen prolly was too but at least her intelligence shines through, and plastic surgery in your 20s is a lot less defensible. But, at least it didn't end up to be that crybaby Mary. Gods we got so sick of her bursing into tears every time

Given her obvious insecurities, it's just as well The Poo chose Amanda - otherwise who knows how many bunnies she would have boiled?
