The writing was on the wall. A thirty year old man who can't seem to find his own date is still maturing, and a 24 y/o woman, whose pre-fontal cortex has not yet fully developed (this part of the brain controls the executive decision making function of the brain), is inexperienced, ignorant, and insecure are destined to wind up together. In time they will grow up together, regret some of their words and actions on the show, and will maintain their celebrity "C" list status.
Jen, the exposure from the show should provide you a plethora of options and suitable men (by suitable I mean cosmopolitan, worldly, humble, spiritual, lively, multi-dimensional and philanthropic) to complement you. This was not a loss, it was a win for you. Much luck in love and life.

I THINK JEN'S AGE PLAYED A BIG ROLE IN THIS. JEN IS MUCH MORE PRETTY, AND MUCH MORE RELAXED, AND CONFIDENT. BUT, IF HE IS LOOKING FOR A FAMILY, IT WOULD BE DIFFICULT TO BE WITH AN OLDER WOMEN.

I think they have no chance she is very uptight and insecure. The first time he doesn't ansewer her phone call or is late from work she will be crazy!!!!

i don't think it will work amanda is a conaiving inmature b****. jen would have been better for him unfortunately she can't give him kids.

This show was all about who I most want to shag, not who do I want to be in a relationship with. The way he played all of the women by saying and acting the same way with them all showed that. That is what a player does, not someone looking for the real thing. No doubt Mark wanted to shag them both, but the bigger BFB's win again. If Mark is lucky he will get out of this with a fun fling, but Amanda has shown herself to be one of those scary girls who won't take it too well when she gets dumped for the next young brunette that comes Mark's way.

Wow, people on here can be pretty ruthless. I thought both women were great and conducted themselves well..minus Jen's need to brag about her sexual exploits..but Amanda was sincere and honest about her feelings. Who would like a man you're falling for to be out with another woman?! I was rooting for her..they have the best chance for a real future together. She's sweet and shy and I felt her feelings ran deeper.

Why did the show pick a 30 year old guy as the bachelor? He should have been midway between the age of the women. He should have been 35 and the women would range between 30 and 40 years old...5 years each way...that would have been more fair. Amanda was only a 5 year difference. He might have chosen a 35 year old (5 years older) if he been given that option...then we would really have seen if age mattered...

I agree with clairse, he just wanted to shag, and he could of picked either one for that. And Amanda seems like she could go off the deep end at any minute. Mark-get out fast while you still can. Your tennis rank is sinking, and so is your love life. Get it together man!

I did't like the result. Amanda was way to insecure. I just think in the end they probably won't last. Mark said he made a lot of mistakes in his previous relationships with a younger woman. Seems like he's adding one more to the list.
