Jen is beautiful and classy but I found Marc to be wimpy and Amamda, to be too darn needy. So while I feel bad for Jen, to me the result was perfect.

Amanda is... very immature. and he'll get what he deserves. I never saw him with an older woman. ever. The criticisms about the show were right: if you wanted a 'fair' competition- you would have had single mother 20 yr olds or all/more never married 40 yr olds. they also should have picked a 35 yr old guy, or made the age range more even

What a joke. He was attracted to Amamda from the beginning. Jen, who is much more beautiful and has tons more going for her is really too old for him, but NBC could have done better than Amanda. She seems like an insecure, needy, horse faced nothing. She only has a good body going for her.

Amanda is a perfect match for Mark...they both appear to be tacky and shallow. She's an insecure and needy person. If he wants that then good for him. Her looks aren't too great from the start and then you throw in that awful personality and it's all over.

I personally hated Jen and all of her other old friends. If I was a guy I would not want to date a 48 year old. He might actually want to have a family one day and could not have done that with Jen. I liked Amanda a lot and I hope they work out.

Jen was way more of a woman then Amanda. They could have always adopted!

Bad show. I had to watch it for a class assignment in popular culture. The people saying the show should have been designed around actually answering the question," Does age matter", in a fair way were right on. Why put a bachelor in the game that dates 18 year olds as a general rule and try to make some profound discovery about love and who he will pick? Wasn't it obvious from the beginning that no one above 30 had a chance? If there had been a rich and beautiful twenty-year-old that would have sealed the deal. Either way, no one is fooled into believing that Jen had a chance. therefore disproving and discounting the original premise that age doesn't matter. Mark saying that "age doesn't matter if there's a connection" was really tedious especially after the 100th time. Just when I thought reality television couldn't get any worse.....

Amanda saying" I got my man," was so disgusting and possessive. Yuck. She's defined by a relationship and not much of a person on her own. Mark falling for it was just plain stupid.

going along with lori, when i read that he was engaged to an 18 year old not too long ago, it became obvious what his choice would be in the end. i'd say they will last a maximum of 4 months.
