Of course we are defensive, how would you feel if everyone talked about Australians the way they talk about Americans...It gets old...And for the most part Americans dont agree with the war. People are ignorant if they cant distinguish the difference between the American government and the American people.

jajagigi - I will admit I could have made my point in a less combative way - a lot of us Aussies a bit p***ed" about the whole APEC farce (given our health system is in complete crisis at the moment) so for that I apologize. My second comment however should not have been construed as to be aimed at the general US populace - note the "(largely undeserved)" comment. I do have to wonder why you are defending the arrogance of someone who writes off another's opinion because they are not American (neither is Mark if you didn't notice) or the ignorance of the response (still awaiting the info on those millions you've given us Anonymous 10/09 ).
