Logo for The 4400Fans of USA's The 4400 are looking for a miracle after the network recently announced the cancellation of the sci-fi series.  People dedicated to the show are bonding together in their anger over USA's decision, and like many fans before them they're attempting to resurrect the series by any means possible.  Letters are being sent, online petitions are being signed, and in a move reminiscent of the infamous campaign that saved Jericho, tons of sunflower seeds are being shipped to USA's offices.  The sunflower seeds were mentioned by a character in the season four episode "Tiny Machines," and fans believe that they may be the key to swaying the minds of network executives.

I think that like true love, a truly compelling TV show only comes around once in a while, and if its something you love, you do what's needed to keep it.

Did you happen to see what shows are to take the place of The 4400? It's some sort of dramedy and another crime drama. CBS has the market on crime drama already. I think many felt this was a slap in the face, and people are tired. The 4400 has a built-in fan base already. How in the world does this show go from being "the most watched" to cancelled? Someone has an agenda, and it's not as simple as ratings IMO. Thanks!

I liked this series and watched every episode with my friend....my favorite was how each one of the 4400 was unique and given special abilities....but then the series got overblown . They had members of the 4400 killing other people , they had members of the 4400 fighting with eachother. I enjoyed the relationship with Tom and his son Kyle . But even that was slightly innterrupted when Chad Furst missed one season of shooting and then they had the alien baby grow up over night to cause major headaches. So I got lost in the story concept. They should give fans one more season then tie up loose ends.

Since the early days of Star Trek, I've been convinced that the powers that be at NBC are idiots. They never cease to disappoint me. Just look at the cancellation of Battlestar Galactica that prompted the last season starting in March. Idiots.

Angry The cancellation of the 4400

I have always watched tv and most of the time i just sit mindlessly watching not really caring what is happening. Every once in awhile I happen upon a show that feels like family or a close friend. The 4400 is such a show. I have never even considered a letter campaign to keep a show on the air before, that was until now. I feel like I would be loosing a family member if this show actually never returns. I feel like I have "unfinished business" with this show. I would like, at least, one more season to close out the series. I would hope that others feel like we do and let the USA network know we are unhappy with their decision to cancel this show!!!
