why do they wait such a long time to come back? I mean, why cant they come the next month they get off? know what i mean?

i wish they would hurry it up too because you forget whats going on .. or just lose general interest... but would you be tired of t if u saw it straight ?? ... pros and cons for both

Most cable television series only make 13 episodes per year. That's still a pretty big budget for those networks. So that basically means there will be nine months a year during which they'll run reruns (or no episodes at all) for such series.

I think it could compete as a Fall show, or at least air "special" episodes during their "break." Like Psych, its a summer show but it aired a Christmas episode.

The 4400 has officially been cancelled and I'm pissed! I have followed this show since episode #1 and own every season on DVD, I can't believe that with the writers strike they don't air the episodes that have aired on cable already on there broadcast channel, and then give us some closure with a season to end the show! I get so tired of falling for shows that aren't given endings! One would think that in the age of the internet, shows that get cancelled could at least wrap up online with what would have happened if they were given the chance! Why can't a site be put together by writers of these cancelled shows to give the fans closure for shows like the 4400, surface, Threshhold, The Nine, and I could go on and on! It wouldn't be the same but at least we would get some closure for all the time we invest in these stories!

Hi everyone, USA Network confirmed on 12/21/2007 that 4400 as well as The Dead Zone have been cancelled. Only chance may be if the SCi Fi Network picks 4400 up, but that is just my guess that that could perhaps happen.
