Generally this season is going well but the whole Assad thing is all wrong. As if terrorists are going to be called off by a speach! If osama went on CNN and admitted that his plans were all a big mistake and renounced extreamism it wouldn't make a blind bit of difference.

i thinkyou underestimate the structure of societies and the influence of leaders in those countries. of course, radical terrorists won't change their agenda, but if they face strong opposition from the people they claim to fight for, it's a different story. sadly enough, cheney and bush cannot be convinced by anyone that they have to show interest in the destiny of the people instead of their oil... same problem, if assad would speak in order to support the current us-strategy, he would surely be considered a puppet

ossama is the idiological figure head. if he went on CNN and renounced terrorism, you can bet it would give pause to the dogmatic morons following him

I love the Assad actor. It was a mistake having him die in the bomb. The story line that was emerging had texture and possibility. Maybe they weren't paying him enough to stay on... Love that actor.
