How stupid can you be? Putting a red flashing light on a bomb? Pretty obvious really. They were asking to be rumbled! LOL

yes, and no less stupid is the idea that one can easily get to the podium and fiddle with it - minutes away from the Presidential address.

Nobody had an idea that bastard would place a bomb. I guess it just started flashing shortly before detonation

My main gripe with the bomb scene was why would you put it so close to the front of the podium where it could be seen by anyone standing there? A few inches further back and it would have been out of sight, and the power of the blast would hardly have been compromised... Petty I know but I'm a stickler for detail...

ya, also the dripping goo out of the recorder plus the fact there would have been cctv of the room that they could see who placed it there. dumb to say the least

surely the mixing of chemical to make the explosion would occur internally and a leakage would decrease the potency of the bomb.

its a film/tv thing a flashing light adds tensison to the sceeen surprised they didnt put a timmer on it.

the leakage wold probably have made very little difference as it only seamed to be a relatively small amoun compared to the amount inside the dictaphone. Not that im an expert on bombs/or explosives, in fact i know nothing!! .................................................. .........just incase some over zealous security agent/FBI/MI5/CIA is now monitoring this thread looking for terrorist in the so called war against terror
