I can't imagine anybody else in this role. He's a perfect actor for this part. The roles on 24 all incorporate stinging conflicts -- and Mke Novick really messed up when he betrayed the president, thinking that, really, he was doing the right thing for the country. It's not often you get to see the pain on a man's face when he's wrong in such a big way. Jude made that moment of humiliation real. I was glad they brought his charactor back, though. The redemption and chance to reprise himself, was a refreshing thing to get to experience through the Novick character Jude played so well.
